The roast I prepared Sunday
This was all rolled up and put in tin foil.

Was a bit dry, perhaps I should have put some beef fat in it before rolling it up.

Wild pigs (warthogs and bush pigs) tend to have dry meat, no matter what one does. I must add that we mainly used warthog. We stopped making roasts for exactly this reason.

We googled a few "pulled pork" recipes and adjusted them for game and put it overnight in a slow cooker. Winner!

Looking at that makes me so hangry! I love pig meat of all types. Mate of mine who sheets a lot of bushpig on his cane farm adds domestic pig fat to the insides of his roast rolls and that seems to work well.
