First, put away the S365.

Driepoot will be along soon to give you the rest.

Agree, S365 is for 30-06, 270, 7x64 etc.

S341, S335, S321 goes for 308.

Some of the imported powders are said to be more stable.

365 is in stock at my local. I'm in two minds about giving it a bash. One mind says 'why bother with load dev you'll never get another tin' and the other 'but  its soo cheap'. My 270 win which I have owned for 5 years or so has never tasted 365 as it's been unobtanium since I got it.

I did once try S365 in my .303. With the wind from the front, having partial burnt and unburnt powder blow into your face is not a pleasant experience.

S365 and the 270 can be a problem child at best. DaleSH (Gunsite) describes the effect as a "turbo boost" when pressures start to exceed 50 000 psi. Loading near the top therefore requires careful charges to get the best performance.
