A good alternative, does the same job, costs much less. Check with them for stock first.

Haven't seen one of those before, looks like a nice machine and cracking good value.

Just be aware that the unit referenced is for handgun rounds or rifle rounds less than 58.75mm in length.

I think this is the replacement model for the pro 1000. Lee is moving all their presses to the steel base model.

Nope, it's the Value Turret, made more for pistol than rifle as it does not have a lot of stroke. Good little press but not as solid as the Classic Turret.

The steel base was a development to accommodate the index pin for the new model Pro1000 and the Pro4000. The Value Turret was always built on the Pro1000 base.

When I say Pro 1000 I was referring the old, red, hollow aluminium base Pro 1000.

I'm clearly behind the times.
