Length of bullet
Nosler PART 160gr = 33.02mm
Rhino 160gr = 33.60mm

Might not have a serious affect on stability.

Which cartridge/s went into history, was stopped from production, and was revived again?

Has that ever happened?

Treeman, not wanting to go on with a hobby is fairly normal. You gave up biking some time ago. With hunting, one seems to go through phases. Your playing phase seems to have taken a setback, and your teaching phase seems to have taken over. Don't worry about that, embrace it and move on.

Which Nosler bullets are you looking for?

In searching for possible reasons for the headspace problem with my 308, a member asked whether I shot R1 (7.62x51) milsurp in the rifle.

Yes, I did, but I don't know how many shots. It might have been a good 200 shots, on and off, over ten or fifteen years. It might also have been a little less or more.

Could that have made a difference, or caused headspace trouble?

How does the length compare to a regular cup-and-core bullet?

If it is longer, one might be able to get closer to an answer by comparing it to a 180gr C&C bullet.

I know this because I used to shoot 130gr Impala LWHV in my 308; they had the same accuracy as 180gr bullets.

The stability of 160 gr bullets in a .270 Win 1:10 twist is pretty close to the edge, I can not see this solid shank = more bullet length, added length helping.
What are the opinions in regard to this bullet and stability ?

That said, I ask again for the  members to ask around, can anyone find some nosler 160 gr bullets for me. I do not wish to do the whole job to find no stock available.
