Patched up an old Lyman Crusher. This is I believe the second model, that looks like an RCBS.

I bought it very cheaply, as it was effectively damaged. The hard stops were gone causing excessive cam over.

The base of the casting that is the built in hard stop against each linkage arm was broken, so I used an epoxy that is designed for filling casting defects to cover up the gashes.

Then, to re-create the hard stop, a few one inch washers, epoxied to each other and the frame.

I've been looking for a dedicated press-type backup priming solution that has primer seating depth control, and this - with a simple Lee Ram Prime, will do the job.

I am wondering how the epoxy will withstand the repeated action stress - I have found it to buckle rather fast ?.
Perhaps a tig weld spot or a dedicated lathe turned spacer once the washer measurements are confirmed as correct.

I let the epoxy set under compression, so all additional compressive stress is taken up by the washers against the frame.

This is Pattex Clear, the only thing that will weaken it is acetone.
