Title: Who gave Treeman a bullet mold?
Post by: JamesNotBond on Oct 29, 2024, 08:44 PM
;D  :o  Warning to those that stop over at Treemans place !
Don't, not tonight. Was my plan to go have a beer on his behalf since he seems to be refraining from the substance, but I think the local pub may be a better place tonight.
Somebody evidently gave Dave a bullet mold, this act of generosity has greatly affected the mood at his place and reloading room is not conducive to social happiness.
There be much coded speech and %#$%# off, &^^%&ups and *^*%^sake's, it would seem that "fill, frosting, cooling" are not just baking terms.

Gold! Casting is satisfying till it isn't.

No - not at all . Got a lot of bullet representing shaped pieces of lead, some appear circumcised, some not. Guess I will activate the casting thread space.

I in the meantime ordered 200 cast bullets.

My OCD would have me staying up all night chasing down the problem before it let me buy cast bullets. There are only so many things that can be wrong. Shouldn't be too hard to hone in on the problem.

Did you do all the basic prep like degreasing and smoking the mold?

They are not bullets that didnt cast correctly, they are just eccentric-shaped fishing sinkers....

Incorrect. They are precision graduated pot ready refined ingots.

Hunters sinkers me thinks, decent distance obtained from good BC and the SD for deep anchoring.
