Typical political rubbish - hit job on the DA
Yada yada a lot but actually says nothing - of real value and no tangible proof
Please lets see the bills of lading for the export of weapons ?
In any case there is a formal government department that legislates the export of weapons
Which is where the author idiot should be directing his attention = ANC free-loaders

South Africa's arms exports nearly doubled in 2023

South African arms exports: Creating a practice of double standards?

A practical workable solution

A key element is making optimal use of available data. As a starting point, police should use crime statistics to identify the areas where most firearm crime occurs. The recently released ISS policy brief illustrates how this can be done.

The SAPS should be able, quite easily, to map firearm crime. Effective mapping is vital to ensuring that police resources are deployed in a precise way, targeted at the groups involved and places where it's occurring.

Precision policing: a vital element of reducing firearm crime

Crime stats from SAPS are kak as it is.
There is not enough granular detail on the stats to actually make a proper determination on what happened.

Vast numbers of crimes are also not reported. If it weren't necessary to have a case number for insurance claims of all sorts a great many more wouldn't be either.

Even if the stats were relatively complete and accurate it wouldn matter a jot as SAPS is a corrupt mess of incompetent people who are led by skelms who spend a great deal of their time and energy committing crimes themselves. As an example, just imagine how many senior SAPS members had to be in on the COVID procurement heist which ran close to R2 billion.

and .. you know this for a fact - with personal evidence ?

FACT:
I regularly attend the community outreach meetings at our local SAPS station ( apart from seeing the DFO )
Attended by the top head of the district HQ
I am in personal contact with the SAPS person that does this research - a white lady captain
My PERSONAL experience is very different, in our area the SAPS are very pro-active

Take care to not fall into the - generalisation trap !

There are news articles on the regular where there are hundreds of cops who have criminal records, that are somehow still on the force. Some of these records should exclude them from being on the force.

SAPS cant even keep their own house in order.

I used to be involved in CPF and i heard something shocker from one of the members. In their station, every knows who is a dodgy toss, but even the station commander was unable to do anything because area commanders were in on the take, and a very possible ending if you did anything , was to get a 115gr in the head. So people would avoid these fuckers like the plague.

This is not an isolated issue.

You are correct though, there are many good cops, who are there to assist and serve with passion and are true assets to their communities. I have nothing but respect and admiration for these members. They work in kak situations, where any day could be their last, for a shit salary, in what is a thankless job.

However, there are many members who joined, because its a job where i get a firearm and power, and now i can be a criminal behind a badge. And there are many more of these fuckers than what we think there are.

SAPS has a public image problem, because of shitty members. If you hear how people struggle to get cases opened, police to come out, how a station with 5 detectives, has one car for them to share, police members assaulting suspects in cells (sexually and physically). Then its not hard to see why the general public dislikes them.

But the VIP budget gets an increase, and moerse wasteful expenditure in general, that limits resources in many stations, like enough vehicles for detectives and public policing units. Open more forensic labs so that DNA doesnt take 6 months to get a result, etc etc.

So to ask Oaf for personal evidence is a bit of a dumb one. I haven't personally been to Ukraine or Gaza, but i know there are wars there. Do i have to have boots on the ground to know whats going on?

NO
but ...
A visit to your local SAPS station is a lot closer and a lot easier
and
Perhaps a lot more informative ?
There is no substitute for personal on the spot exposure and experience

Why so many observers and journalists are getting shot in Gaza / Middle East

We have a SAPS station across the road from where I work, it's an absolute shit show, my oldman was a cop for 30 years, I know how things were in the past...."Protect and Serve" are the polar opposite of what they portray...

I am trying to be - pro-active and positive ( hard I know .. but still )
You on the other hand are just being negative - perhaps other persons experiences are different to your own ?
