Being sandwiched between Russia and Germany means the Poles are more used to being invaded than just about any other country. Reckon they're tired of it and don't plan on having a rerun.

WHAT does one do when he perps are GUN DEALERS ?
QuoteThe latest case in the Western Cape Division of the High Court involving guns being sold to gangsters is that of Anderson Padayachee, a Durban gun dealer who allegedly sold high-calibre rifles and firearms to the notorious Terrible Josters gang between 2018 and 2019, fueling the brutal gang war on the Cape Flats.

Here is some news on the gun licensing problems in Britain. I see a common trait where the authorities are deciding what is best for us. Look at around 11h50 and towards the end.

All firearm owners should be concerned about the Expropriation Act that was just signed into law. It DOES NOT apply to just land. It applies to ALL property, with NO compensation 'if it is in the public interest'. The government could use this law to literally expropriate all our firearms tomorrow. Anti-firearm people would love this.

The British passed a similar law in 1878 and used it to disarm all blacks in the Cape, including the loyal Mfengu. Maybe the government uses it...maybe they do not...but this law means that it will ALWAYS be possible for ANY government in power to do that to firearm owners. Your licence means the government knows that you have a firearm and where you store it.

We must reject such laws, every time. It puts your property at risk: land, car, firearms, toasters! Even if the government is 'good' today, the government in 10 years might not be. The Cape was good to the Mfengu in 1874, then a new government disarmed them four years later.

Remember Langalibalele, the Sotho, the Mfengu, the Bapedi, and the Xhosa.

Small edit: we mentioned the ANC by name, and have changed this because it might send the wrong message. It is not about the ANC. It is about any government and any party.

QUESTION / COMMENT;

If somebody suggests something firearm owners can do to help retain or win back the ability to own firearms there will be many people who will comment on why it will not work.  With that many experts with so much knowledge surely somebody has an idea of what will be successful.  A strategy, or idea.  It's not unreasonable if you know what will not work you must have some idea of what will.

What strategy or idea will work? Out the box thinking essential.

From past experience it is fatal to have in leadership anyone who will compromise.
Any organisation that will compromise is not going to help.
If your leadership does not examine the past and eliminate what has failed it will be tried again with the same result.  In particular if you do not know why it failed.
What are the examples in history of people winning their rights back.  What lessons do they have ?

Againstthegrains

There is something slightly fishy about the above You tube. The images of the guy in the green tracksuit are not from South Africa, and the report seems to insinuate that the arms are linked to foreign African Nationals. This coming from a province which is practically run by the KZN-Zuma organised crime syndicate. My suspicions are that this report is to divert attention away from who the most likely suspects are.

I wonder how many people will actually send out an email, I've seen the video being shared a "Gazillion" times all over, sharing it is great and all, but that's not the most important part.

While I detest prohibitions on anything I don't see this a gun control issue as such.
