Feral hogs, wild cattle etc?

Has anyone hunted these?

I know of a farm near Fochville where feral hogs were living, and also about a farm near Ventersdorp where cattle had grown wild.

How often and where has it occurred in SA?

A friend who farms near Kroonstad in the Freestate has a European boar problem that he caused when a bunch of the things got out of an enclosure. There's an apparently growing population of then in the area now.
