We had a missed shot on this past hunt by my good mate. He went to the range immediately - rifle was shooting around 8 inches high at 100m if I remember correctly - it had been sighted to be on the money at 100m.
Turns out his brother had slipped the evening before, bumped the scope in the process and thought nothing of it.
It did surprise us that the POA moved so not certain if scope physically moved in the rings or internally only.

I have found things break before POI is affected by falls etc. Cody as a kid smashed his Leopold front in in a fall. I sat on a farm with a pair of hammers, one as a anvil and one as a hammer and tapped the front of the scope open again. In all of that happening, the one shot tester was spot on still. I have had some other bad bangs to rifles and scopes occure, never once was a zero knocked out.
