What I have seen with her .303 is that the sharp edges of the pitting smooth down quite quickly. Fouling did not increase as quickly as expected. To make this process faster, you can put some Iiosso on a tight-fitting jag and run it up and down the barrel a few (50) times. I used Brasso that time...

I fed the wife's. 303 with normal Sierra bullets and the accuracy was just fine. Don't you think that perhaps the the bullets may be to blame? Pitting is usually not the accuracy killer that most think it is.
