If anyone could advise me in regard to which of the local propellants are best suited for the 7 mm Mauser shooting heavier bullets, in this case 154 gr and later 170 gr.
I have noted that S 335, 355, and S 365 are all listed as suitable, but I see S335 seems to deliver a few feet more velocity safely.

S355 is the clear winner here but I have not seen any available for many years. S341 is nearly comparable with S355, but case fill will be down. It might be worthwhile experimenting if you have stock.

If anyone has stock of S341 I would gladly fight you for it. Nothing else works better in my .223.

A longer barrel might allow for a slower powder. How long is your barrel?
