The way the spam signups are handled is changing, there is no longer an IP ban in place. There are a small number still in place, they will be phased out shortly.

The ban is now either on the email address, or email domain used to sign-up.

This will facilitate access by forum users who are on a VPN, or in a geographic region where formerly the IP ranges were banned.

Good news. The IP range ban was a PITA as I always forget to disconnect from VPN before browsing the forum.

The IP ban list is now cleared.

I've had to re-impliment IP ban list due to the large number of spam registrations from certain subnets.

For now, the banned subnets are specific to Russia. It's possible that if you use a VPN that is on a Russian subnet, forum access may be prevented.

I hope Singapore is still allowed.

My bannings came when using Private Internet Access or AVG VPNs and were definitely not set to russian regions if they even have them as options.

The subnets are Moscow specific.

Same happened with me. Had to use a different browser for a while.
