I'm also thinking of trying out some spoor bullets (150gr in 308win), although I find them a bit pricy for general plinking. If I decide to go with them, can anyone suggest a cheap plinking bullet e.g Interlocks that are likely to shoot at the same trajectory and POI?
would the trajectory not be the same if the cheap bullet velocity is the same ?
I am who I am - I am not who you want me to be.
Therefore I am me.
Cody and I found the Hornady I/L 154 gr and the Spoor 140 gr to shoot same L-R but at different vertical point.

At the moment, the cheapest bullets I know of are the Ballistix. Works out approx. R10 each for 155 grainers. If you want practice / hunting bullets that shoot the same, they offer Target and Ultrahunt in the same bullet weight. The practice bullets don't have the hollow point and are a bit cheaper.
The cheapest would probably be the Frontier CMJ .30 cal in 150gr. Accuracy is reported to be not that great, but should have very close to the same ballistics as the SBC. Reason being that the ogives are a similar shape.
Slightly more expensive would be the Hornady Interlocs 150gr. At 199m there wasn't an appreciable difference between the SBC 180gr and the Intrrloc 180gr. I presume it would be similar with the 150gr models.
