Thanks, will check it out. 1k is optimistic, IMO, I'm prepared to pay a few hundred.
I intend to put the rifle up for sale, and I want to sell it in it's original configuration. I experimented on the factory stock, so I can't in good conscience sell the rifle with it on.

Indeed. I've seen them given away for free. They come up often so you are unlikely to have a long wait.

I got you one.
Amazing story,I was given this stock after fitting a wooden stock for a guy, I gave this stock to a Gunsmith, the Gun smith after getting his needed measurements etc gave it to a guy who never got to build his project. 8 years later the stock is back with me an now on its way to Big5ifty
